Scaffolders – Netherlands

The LSB Group has scaffolding construction projects throughout the year. These projects can take place throughout the Netherlands or Belgium (Flanders Region). It concerns projects in Industry, Infrastructure, New Construction, Renovation, and Restoration. Depending on the project, you can choose to work with traditional scaffolding, system scaffolding, Safespan work platform system, special aluminum constructions, mast climbing platforms, and aerial platforms.

You ensure that you are at the project itself at 07.30 AM. You may be able to drive to the project from home, otherwise, you will have to drive from the LSB Group (Geleen) to the project in the work bus. Depending on the size of the project, you have 1 or more projects on 1 working day. At 4.15 PM you leave the project again.

What do you do as a scaffold builder?

• You make a temporary construction, made up of scaffolding pipes and planks to enable construction or maintenance in places that are not accessible from the ground. As a rule, scaffolding is placed in front of a structure, the scaffolding grows with it as the building becomes higher.

Requirements:

• You can communicate in English;
• Physically and mentally able to handle this work;
• Being able to deal with working at heights;
• Able to work with different nationalities;
• A VCA certificate is an advantage. Achieve otherwise in the Netherlands (our costs).
• A scaffolding diploma is not a requirement but also an advantage.
• You can handle work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Experience with scaffolding or other physical work in construction is an advantage.
• Driver’s license and your transport

Salary:

CAO Bouw & Infra (Collective Labor Agreement Construction & Infrastructure):

Scale A: 26 years or older, or 1 year of demonstrable experience in construction: €14.97 per hour (or you can choose to include your ADV (extra paid leave hours) of 7.87% in your hourly wage: €16.15.
