Function description
Stainless Steel Welder / Assembler (20% welding 80% assembling)
Location– Someren
For our welding department, we are looking for a Stainless Steel Welder / Assembler.
Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and contributing to projects from start to finish? Do you thrive on variety in your work? Then this might be the perfect job for you!
As a Stainless Steel Welder / Assembler, you will primarily focus on independently assembling, welding, and finishing stainless steel products, sheet metal, and equipment. Most of the work involves TIG welding, including laser welding and CO2 welding. If you have no experience with the latest laser welding techniques but are motivated, we will gladly teach you! You will often work on single pieces, but occasionally on small series. No day is the same: one moment you are working on a frame, and the next on an entire machine. This variety keeps your day engaging. When welding with pulsed current, the current and voltage continuously alternate between a low base current (H) and a higher peak current according to the pulse frequency. During the high pulse current phase, penetration occurs in the base material, forming a point-shaped weld pool.
Requirements:
- Assembling and welding according to drawings and/or specifications
- Welding stainless steel sheet/structural parts and equipment, primarily using TIG welding
- Additional welding tasks using laser and CO2 welding
- Training will be provided if laser welding is new to you
- General construction tasks
- Measuring and inspecting the produced products
- You are motivated and have experience with TIG welding
- You are quality-conscious, detail-oriented, and proficient in reading technical drawings
- You have a flexible mindset and a no-nonsense attitude
- You are a team player but can also work independently
