We are looking for a skilled Car Painter to join our team in the Netherlands. The Car Painter will be responsible for painting vehicles to the highest quality standards. This includes preparing surfaces, mixing paints, applying primers and finishes, and ensuring a flawless, durable coat. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of automotive painting techniques and materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare vehicles for painting by removing rust, sanding surfaces, filling dents, and masking areas that should not be painted.
- Mix and match paint colours to achieve the desired colour and finish.
- Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Inspect painted surfaces for flaws and ensure high-quality finishes.
- Maintain painting equipment and work areas, performing routine maintenance and cleaning.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure timely completion of painting projects.
Qualifications:
- Vocational training or certification in automotive painting is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Car Painter in an automotive body shop or similar environment.
- Proficient in various automotive painting techniques and the use of painting tools and equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in automotive painting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: 600 – 700 euro net. Weekly after all expenses like accommodation, insurance and taxes.
